To be a unique organization that promotes Women Empowerment, Arts and Multiculturalism.

OUR MISSION
We hold events throughout the year that promote multiculturalism and ultimately, serve as an example to empower women. The Performing Arts is the medium through which we try to accomplish our goals.

OUR VALUES
We are a 100% volunteer based organization comprised of men and women who dedicate their time and skills to uphold our company objectives. We are non-political and inclusive of anyone irrespective of race, religion or orientation. Through our charity initiatives we empower less fortunate women and children with the needed skills and education.

Dancing Damsels Inc. is an incorporated non-profit (Reg. No: 8607877 ) company registered in 2013 under the Canada Not-for-Profit Corporations Act, which works to educate and empower

through Multi and Intercultural Arts by organizing various events and festivals in the Greater

Toronto Area with a Registered Office Address: 12, Trinnell Blvd, Toronto, ON M1L 1S5. Canada.

Dancing Damsels is an organization that promotes Women Empowerment, Arts and

Multiculturalism.

Events are held throughout the year to promote multiculturalism and serve as an example to empower artists and women. The Performing Arts is the medium through which we try to accomplish our goals.

Also we undertake various projects to cater Seniors, New Immigrants, Students, differently ables and LGBTQ+.

Our volunteer pool of over 300 members and youth from diverse backgrounds who are dedicated to make all our events a success.

Dr.MARY ASHOK (MANAGING DIRECTOR) 2017 -'20

MARY ASHOK: A medical graduate (MBBS) pursuing classical dance for more than two decades, is the Founder and the current Managing Director of Dancing Damsels Inc.

She is a noted danseuse, who started learning dance since she was five years old and continued to learn Bharathanatyam in the Vazhuvoor style for around 25 years.

Mary Ashok has performed numerous stages for programmes in India and abroad, and has earned the title “Natya Mayuri.

If you are an Art lover, or like to promote multicultural a Arts, and if you have some spare time to do something for the community, you are wholeheartedly welcomed to the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of Dancing Damsels .

All the positions are volunteer but we do appreciate and value the time and efforts taken for this organization.

DD is not a feminist organization but it has got a vision to promote multiculturalism and empower women through arts. (Please go through our objectives - PEACE. )
